Update Regarding the 73 Horses Rescued by Erie County SPCA from East Aurora Farm June 2010 The horses are still in the custody of the SPCA and will continue to be cared for by shelter employees. Twelve of the horses will be housed at the SPCA’s farm located at its 205 Ensminger Road, Tonawanda location. Animal cruelty charges are still pending in this case. The work of caring for all of the animals possible because of compassionate individuals. The SPCA deeply thanks each and every person who did something, whether it be big or small, to help the animals in this case. Through the help of Tractor Supply Company employees, Rod Carmichael, Lloyd Hunt, and John Wendler, the SPCA was presented with a $5,000 gift card to be used for the care of the horses. |
